How statory works

A 3-minute look at how statory works — see it before you run it.

Lab — the world

  1. ① Read serials analyzed from global news coverage as data. The weekly series runs six tracks by weekday — Mon "AI Divide", Tue "K-Culture Global", Wed "Game & Esports World", Thu "Jobs & Skills Radar", Fri "Meme & Trend Map", Sat "Creator Economy" — plus a ★ "Special Issue".

  2. ② Reading a card — each card carries a weekday badge, the series name, a one-line latest episode, and how many episodes have accumulated. Click a card to open that series’ episode list, then an episode to read the full analysis. Series that have not started show "coming soon" and are not clickable.

  3. ③ Make your own report — in the "Try it" area, enter a topic keyword (e.g. AI regulation, climate disasters). Preview first to see how many articles the archive holds.

  4. ④ Press "Create world-press report" to gather related coverage into a finished statistical report, collected under "My reports". If the sample is too small the full report locks — widen the period, add keywords, or explore in preview mode first.

Addiction Lab — addiction

  1. ① On the right of the lab home is an area devoted to addiction — the serial "Addiction Divide" plus two book-length reads.

① On the right of the lab home is an area devoted to addiction — the serial "Addiction Divide" plus two book-length reads.

  2. ② "Addiction Divide" — a serial tracking, in data, how addiction-related coverage differs across regions of the world. Episodes accumulate just like the weekly series.

  3. ③ "What is addiction?" (7-chapter primer) — from the concept of addiction through substance, behavioral, and gambling addiction, psychology, policy, and healing communities. "Addiction: past and future" (8 chapters) — reading addiction through the history of civilization, from the cognitive revolution to AGI, and from a risk society to an addiction society. Both are single works, so the card opens the full text directly.

  4. ④ A note on reading — these are data- and research-based reads, not tools that assess or diagnose anyone’s condition. If you feel you need support, please also reach out to professional services or counseling.
